Evan Riedell
SENIOR ASSOCIATE
Evan Riedell is a seasoned management and defense acquisition expert with nearly two decades of extensive experience in federal procurement, contract management, and strategic program execution. He is a Senior Associate at AMRA Consulting, LLC, where he supports the Contract Management Office (CMO) at Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Mr. Riedell brings deep expertise in managing complex, multi-billion-dollar acquisition strategies, sole-source and competitive negotiations, rigorous cost/price analysis, and team leadership within highly regulated environments.
Prior to joining AMRA, he served as a warranted Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO) for the Department of the Navy at NAVAIR, managing high-visibility portfolios with an aggregate value exceeding $4.5 billion. During his tenure at NAVAIR, he spearheaded major acquisition processes for the Airborne Command and Control Systems (PMA-231) and Electronic Warfare (PMA-272) program offices, successfully leading the procurement of critical defense assets such as the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye platform. He began his federal contracting career within the Naval Acquisition Intern Program, building his expertise in FAR Part 15 and FAR Part 12 procurements, with a focus on rapid-response fleet sustainment contracts.
Mr. Riedell holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. He is also DAWIA Level III certified in Contracting and maintains a Secret Security Clearance with the Department of Defense.
